Stacey Goode
Stacey has long been called an artist with hair because she listens to what her clients want, and combines that with her ability to envision a great look to achieve a perfect haircut. Finally settled in the Charleston area, Stacey's at Old South Barber Spa to continue the talents that earned her a large clientele in Columbia, where she spent four years as Five Points’ first-ever female barber in a shop continuously open since 1937. From her earlier work at Carmen! Carmen!, Stacey learned much through a mentorship with Carmen himself, who personally instructed her in honing some hairstyling skills he learned from his colleague Vidal Sassoon. Oh yes, Stacey arrives prepared to successfully please her clients. With admirable work ethics and strong family values, Stacey is delighted to be a part of Old South's staff while looking forward to spending her leisure time with cousins and siblings on James Island, and knowing the joys of coming home to her Pomeranian "Mikey".

She’s been practicing for the last 13 years and has developed her own unique style of a deep Swedish massage. Long flowing movements provide a sense of continuity which aid in the relaxation aspect and the pressure and attention to trigger points provide the therapeutic aspect...great "gain" with as little "pain" as possible for a totally enjoyable experience. Stephanie enjoys baking and eating and walking her rescue dog Jack. You may have seen her running the beautiful bridges in the area, or maybe you’ve taken one of her yoga classes. Stephanie is a certified yoga instructor, with Hot or Bikram yoga being her favorite.
